About this side session

Digital Product Passports (DPPs) are moving fast in fashion and textiles. In this side session, we’ll explore, very practically, how DPP data can support due diligence efforts in fashion supply chains, and where DPPs have limits on their own.

What you’ll take away

• A clear view of which types of product-level data can strengthen upstream visibility and attribution for due diligence.
• Real examples of what is feasible now (data, verification, circularity use cases).
• Practical questions to help teams scope their next steps.

Session perspectives

- Open Supply Hub: Supply chain data as a public good, and how Digital Facility Records can reduce duplication and reporting burdens.
- Aware: Fibre-level verification to improve data reliability and reduce greenwashing risks linked to DPP-related information and claims.
- Caruma: Case study: integrating DPPs into an upcycled collection, and how circular brands can begin applying DPPs in practice (secure data, traceability, trust).
- GO TRACE moderates the session and connects these examples to OECD due diligence expectations for responsible supply chains.
